Other than Jesus no man has made more of an impact on my life. He was my mentor, my encourager, my role model and my friend. I am proud to be called an extra son. The principles that direct my life come from The Bible and Doc Crowder, He was my safety net in ministry, whenever I encountered a challenge or difficulty I would call “Doc” and we would discuss the issues and always land on a principle to make a decision by. I am grateful for Doc in so many ways but most of all because he also gave me an extra mom, Nellie Blue so unique in so many ways. “truly one of a kind” she made my day when she patted me on the cheek and said you are a good son. It was always my pleasure when I went to visit to stop at a See’s store and buy chocolate for mom.
I miss you both so very much. I wish you were still here, however I would rather have you gone for a little while knowing when I see you again it will be forever…
